"When Gender Dies: The Birth of the First Person" features 7 multimedia paintings of the life cycle of the first human to live a life without gender constructions forced upon them, and storyboard panels telling their story.

The pieces are UV reactive and it is an immersive experience. There's a rocking chair, children's books, a response board, a QR code to a video, and include some of the portraits from "Is Gender Working for You?".

Someday we will tell this tale to our children and students, and try to fathom the ancient notion of gender.
